The Fire District has ordered a new piece of apparatus that will serve not only the plethora of apartments being constructed in the Town but any occupancy where fire needs to be fought at elevation. Coming the district in approximately 25 – 27 months. The truck pictured is headed to Greensboro, SC but our will be very similar. More details to follow in the coming months. Note that there will be no increase in the fire district tax rate as a result of this purchase.
